On August 25th 2008, access to Interchange Webmail (also known as UBC Webmail Beta) will be restricted to those who have used the service between March and August 2008. Access will be unavailable to those who have never used the Interchange Webmail interface or haven’t used it since March 2008.
The vendor of the software that is used by Interchange Webmail no longer provides support for the product and as a result, security updates and bug fixes are no longer available. The beta Interchange Webmail service will be retired over the next four months beginning with restricting access to existing customers of the webmail interface. Please note that this will *not* affect myUBC or myUBC Webmail.
No service outage is expected on August 25th although there may be a 5 minute delay in processing Interchange mailbox purchases (new account, increased quota, etc.)
