Power has been restored across UBC Vancouver Campus and I.T. networks are operational.

Power has been restored to many buildings and networking is being restored. We will continue to monitor the remaining buildings without power to ensure their networks are brought on-line when power is restored.

UBC Utilities has confirmed one of two transformers has successfully been restored. A second transformer is still undergoing repair.

There is currently a power issue on campus affecting a large number of buildings. UBC Utilities is working on the situation. Network connectivity is affected in buildings without power. UBC IT will monitor the situation and will verify networks are operational once power is restored.
