UBC IT will be performing maintenance on UBC Cisco phones on August 20th, 2015 at 6:00am. This change is not expected to impact service in most cases; phones and features will continue to work normally during the change window. However, for a small number of phones, the change may take up to 5 minutes to apply and the phone will be unavailable during that period.
We are making this change as a step towards resolving a known issue when forwarding UBC phones to off-campus phones. We are aware that under certain conditions the original calling party ID is lost when the call arrives on the off-campus device. We expect to have the issue resolved in late September/early October with a second planned change.
