UBC Okanagan network outage – August 8th, 2016 12:19 PT

UBC Okanagan experienced a network outage between 12:19 – 12:36. The network came back up but is now experiencing issues as of 13:18. There are no services being impacted that we know of. Technicians are currently investigating the root cause. Our next update will be at 15:15

Okanagan Campus Network Outage – Core Upgrade July 16, 2016 07:00-09:30 PT

There will be a network outage for the Okanagan Campus on July 16th from 7:00am until 9:30am. This is to upgrade of the core networking equipment for the Okanagan campus. This will cause an outage of all network related services across the campus in including wired, wireless, phone, Internet, file, print and copy services.

UBC IT Bronze Shared Web Hosting Service Maintenance – June 2, 2016, 22:00 – 23:00 PT

The UBC IT Bronze Shared Web Hosting Service will be undergoing maintenance on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 22:00 until 23:00 PT. All hosted sites will be offline and inaccessible for a period of time within this maintenance window.

SPSS License Server Upgrade May 29, 2016 21:00 – 22:00 PT

SPSS Sentinel network license server will be upgraded from v8.5 to v9.6. During this outage window, users of the network licensed version of SPSS will be unable to launch SPSS or AMOS.

*RESOLVED* FASmail Outlook Client Certificate Expired Error – May 26, 2016 08:20 PT

The issue with the Outlook error for the ‘ubc.ca’ certificate being expired has been resolved.
