Sophos Installation Issue on Mac OSX 11 El Capitan – December 23, 2015 UPDATE

The issues where users are having issues with the install of Sophos on the Mac OS X 11 have now been resolved. Those affected are advised to re-download Sophos for OSX from SLMS and install using the updated package.

We are currently experiencing re-direction issue with the UBC download site at download.ubc.ca. The URL is automatically directed to the main UBC site at ubc.ca. Users can still access the page by going to https://it.ubc.ca/software-downloads. Technicians have been informed and are investigating the issue. There is no estimated time of repair at this point

Due to a vendor outage any users who try to go to download.ubc.ca and download Office 365, Sophos Anti-virus or Dreamspark will get a “page cannot be displayed” error. We are working with the vendor to resolve the issue. An update will be posted in one hour.

Adobe License Issue – June 2, 2015 16:15 PT UPDATE

UBC IT has experienced a licensing issue for Adobe Creative Cloud products this morning. UBC IT is working with the vendor on updating the license. Please contact your IT Administrators for assistance. A re-serialization executable file has been placed on Teamshare-SLMS for re-licensing.
