Exchange Service Outage Affecting Select Exchange Email Accounts January 17, 2009 05:00 – 09:00

The Exchange service will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday January 17th 2009 between 5:00am and 9:00am. A number of departments will be impacted by this outage including Housing, OLT, Supply Management, HR, ORS, Arts, LBS and a few others. Departmental Administrators will be notified if their departments are impacted and will be asked to pass along notification to affected individuals.

Affected customers will not be able to send or receive email during the outage but all messages will be delivered once service is restored. Exchange customers from these departments will also be impacted if they use a Blackberry or Outlook Web Access to access their Exchange email.

Although the outage window is four hours in length, individual mailboxes will only be unavailable for up to one hour during the outage window.
