We are currently experiencing an issue with Sophos Antivirus caused by an incorrect update released by the company. Although an update has been released by the company in hopes of fixing the problem, some computers may still be having issues updating to the fixed version. We are currently looking into the problem with the company and working on a solution.

**Update (6:18 pm PDT) – Resolved:
The issue with the UBC IT Sophos Antivirus server has stabilized. Almost all computers that were having problems updating to the company’s fixed version have corrected themselves. If you are still experiencing issues with Sophos on your desktop or laptop please notify your normal computer support contacts.
