Fraudulent Email Alert Jan 4, 2012

Fraudulent emails warning users that their email account has been infected by a virus have been reported. UBC never initiates unsolicited requests for usernames, passwords or any other personal information. Do not reply to this email, click on any links or fill out any online forms with your account information. Instead, please forward a copy of the email including full headers to security@ubc.ca and then delete it from your Inbox or mobile phone. If you think you may have submitted your CWL or email account credentials, go to myAccount and login and change your password immediately. Please remember to notify security@ubc.ca of the possible temporary breach of your CWL account.
