RESOLVED : EAD and FASMail Outage February 8, 2022 09:20


Resolved : Our technicians have implemented a permanent fix for the EAD authentication issue and it is now resolved. Applications dependent on EAD, such as FASmail, are no longer impacted.

Monitoring : Service has been restored but we will continue to monitor the service and work at resolving the root cause of this issue.

Monitoring : Earlier this morning, the Enterprise Active Directory (EAD) service experienced a degradation in performance, which led to issues with being able to access services that rely on that system, such as the Faculty and Staff Email (FASMail) service.

As of 11:05, we have been able to stabilize the service, and at this time EAD reliant services should be back to normal.

Service has been restored but we will continuing to monitor the service and investigate the root cause of this issue.
