RESOLVED: Issues accessing Zoom cloud recordings from Canvas December 11, 2021 17:00-19:00 PT

At approximately 5pm on December 11th, we received reports of issues with accessing Zoom cloud recordings through Canvas.


Instructors clicking on the “Zoom” link in Canvas received the error message “The instructor’s email [] is invalid (2216)”, while students on the Cloud Recordings page were unable to view or copy the passcode required to open the recordings.

Zoom identified issues with the API and deployed a fix the same day, resolving the issues around 7pm.
