RESOLVED: March 14, 2020
The issue that was preventing Mail users with a Hotmail, Outlook, Live, MSN, or any other Microsoft email address from receiving Canvas notification emails has now been resolved.

We have received reports from Hotmail and Outlook mail users that they have stopped receiving emails from Canvas. They may be seeing an alert that says (!) Canvas was unable to send email to this address.
We have contacted the vendor and they are working to resolve the issue. We will provide another update once the issue has been resolved.
