In addition to MPAACT, the Genome Sequence Center and BC Cancer Research Center are also back up with the temporary fix. The following remain down, with expected resolution Tuesday August 13 by end of day:

• Ministry of Environment at Aquatic Ecosystems Research Laboratory (AERL)
• UBC Eduroam users at Vancouver Island Health Authority sites


Update: August 12, 11:50 PT

MPAACT (MedIT Video Conferencing) has now been restored with a temporary workaround. As previously noted, all other impacted systems listed below are expected to be resolved by end of day August 13.

A temporary workaround for MPAACT (MedIT Video Conferencing) will be in place by approximately 13:00 PT today. All other impacted systems listed below are expected be resolved by end of day August 13.

The following systems are currently impacted:
• Ministry of Environment at Aquatic Ecosystems Research Laboratory (AERL)
• MPAACT (MedIT Video Conferencing)
• Genome Sequence Center at Vancouver General Hospital
• BC Cancer Research Center
• UBC Eduroam users at Vancouver Island Health Authority sites

Technicians are working with the vendor to determine the issue and there is no ETA at this time.

These devices have gone back down. Technicians are investigating.

UBC Core router and the Data center Core switch and firewall issue has been resolved.

Presently there are issues with a UBC Core router and a Data center Core switch and firewall.  Technicians are aware of the issue and assessing the impact.
