UPDATE: Enterprise-wide Systems Restored May 16, 2018 09:15 PT

Following yesterday’s outage of multiple UBC systems yesterday, UBC IT has restored all systems as of this morning, with the exception of GitHub (work continues on this throughout the morning).

As part of this outage assessment, a full investigation into the root cause is now underway.

Thank you for your patience today as we restore UBC enterprise-wide services due to issues with EduCloud experienced from this morning. Most UBC services are now restored with the exceptions listed below.

Please note there may users may experience some delayed delivery of emails on the following systems:

UBC Faculty and Staff email, Student and Alumni email, UBC Mailing Lists, and UBC Broadcast email.

You may need to re-start your email system where needed.

We will continue to work on restoring these services throughout the evening:

  • Hyperion
  • Github
  • Image Now
  • Some isolated areas within Student Information Systems (SIS)
