UBC Okanagan is still experiencing intermittent network issues. Some phones and wireless networks may be affected for periods of 15 – 30 minutes.
This issue is also affecting the copy of backups for VSS, EduCloud Server, Home Drive and Teamshare to the UBC Okanagan campus. To preserve the integrity of the backups, the remote copies from the Vancouver campus to the Okanagan campus have been temporarily suspended.
We continue to keep local backup copies of the data for VSS, EduCloud Server, Home Drive and Teamshare at the Vancouver campus and will resume the copies to the remote location at UBC Okanagan as soon as the network issue has been resolved.
Technicians are still investigating the root cause.
