The Matlab License Management Server will be undergoing server patching on May 25, 2014 at approx. 2:00am PT. The patching is expected to take approximately 1 hour with a possible, minimum, 15 minute window of downtime. During this time, the server may become unavailable for Matlab network clients to connect and check-out licenses. New connections (ie. startup sessions) for Matlab network clients will not be able to connect, but some existing sessions may continue to operate during the outage. However, there is no guarantee that those sessions will continue due to lack of connectivity with the license server. Therefore, it is advised that ALL users of the Matlab network clients save their work prior to the maintenance period and wait till the service returns to normal activity to resume using Matlab.
