Exchange Service Outage – August 17, 2009, 11:20 – 12:06

On August 17th 2009 at approximately 11:20am, one of the three Exchange mailbox servers (EVS2) encountered issues and customers were reporting an inability to access their mailboxes. UBC IT administrators resolved the issue at 12:06pm. At approximately 12:00pm, EVS1 also experienced an brief outage for 5 minutes. All servers are now back online.

Impacted departments on EVS2 are Family Practice, Library, Medicine, Sauder, Advancement and Housing.

Impacted departments on EVS1 are Finance, Information Technology, OLT, Supply Management, HR, ORS, Faculty of Law and Arts.
