Exchange Service Outage March 8, 2009, 06:00-10:00

On Sunday, March 8th 2009 between 6:00am and 10:00am, approximately two-thirds of Exchange customers will experience two short 5 – 10 minute outages where they will not be able to send or access messages through Exchange. However, all incoming messages will be queued and delivered when the Exchange service is restored.

Anyone using a Blackberry mobile device or Outlook Web Access to check their Exchange email while it is unavailable will also be impacted until the Exchange service is back online.

On March 2nd 2009, departmental Exchange Administrators will be notified if their departments are impacted and will be asked to pass along notification to affected individuals.
