Cisco AnyConnect support – MS Windows 8

Windows 8 is not compatible with our current version of AnyConnect VPN. Although we will be upgrading AnyConnect to be compatible with Windows 8, AnyConnect will still not work with VPN over a wireless connection until Microsoft provides a fix for the issue.

Update: Life Sciences VSS connectivity issue August 27, 2012 – Resolved as of 20:53 PT

Life Sciences VSS Grid03 is currently experiencing connectivity issues. Affected services are: VDI Student Email Home Drive Team Share Technicians are investigating but no estimated time of repair can be given at this time.

Life Sciences VSS Grid03 is currently experiencing connectivity issues. This is affecting the VSS clients and the vdi across Campus.

Virtual server issue affecting 24 clients – 4:11 May 4, 2012

24 VSS instances were affected by a hardware outage at 4:11 this morning, including one FASMail server. All affected VSS instances were automatically restarted within 5 minutes.

Virtual server issue affecting about 200 VM clients – 17:18 May 1, 2012 – update

We are currently experiencing issues with our virtual servers. Applications that are being hosted there maybe affected. Technicians have been contacted and are working on restoring the the network as soon as possible. It is estimated that connections should be restored at around 18:00.

Virtual server issue affecting about 200 VM clients – 17:58 May 1, 2012 – Update

Virtual servers hosted on the SAN have been restored as of 17:58 May 1, 2012. Applications running on these Servers may need to be re-validated to resume normal funcationaltiy.
