Due to sporadic routing instability with one of the BCNET Vancouver upstream Internet Transit providers, some Vancouver sites are experiencing difficulties in reaching some Internet sites. The cause of this issue is being investigated.

Blackberry Service Outage November 2, 2011 09:56 – 10:20

On November 2nd 2011 between 09:56 and 10:20, approximately 180 Blackberry users connected to the Exchange 2007 service experienced an interruption of service. The team has taken the necessary steps to restore service to affected users. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Ask Me Search Removal From UBC IT Website – November 1, 2011 10:00

Due to declining usage, UBC IT will be removing the Ask Me search tool from the UBC IT Service Catalogue website on Tuesday, November 1st, at 10:00AM. All visitors may still search for information through the Google search tool on the UBC IT website. No user impact is expected.
