On November 17th, 2011 between 10:15 and 10:40, users may have received a bounce-back notification message when attempting to send a message to an @ubc.ca email address. Routing change of E-mail sent to the @ubc.ca domain November 17, 2011 10:00 – 11:00

On November 17th, 2011 between 10:00 and 11:00, email sent to the @ubc.ca domain will be rerouted through the Sophos appliances and new MX servers. No outage is anticipated as a result of this change.

Exchange Service Maintenance – September 26, 2011 9:00 – 11:00

On September 26, 2011 between 09:00 and 11:00, a server will be removed from the Exchange cluster. Although maintenance is expected to last 2 hours, no outage or customer impact is anticipated.

Exchange Mail issue Saturday September 17th, 2011 11:19

Some users of the Exchange email service are experiencing difficulties connecting to the service. UBC IT technical staff are aware of the issue and are working on a resolution.

FASmail – IMAP/POP Outgoing Mail Delivery Rejections/Delays – September 1, 2011

Please be advised that FASmail clients sending mail through smtp.mail.ubc.ca on September 1, 2011 may have received a 5.3.1 – Insufficient Resources error, or delays in mail delivery.
