Mail Relay Upgrade January 26, 2012 13:00 – January 30, 2012 15:00

Between January 26th, 2012 at 13:00 and January 30th, 2012 at 15:00, one of the new mail relays will be upgraded to the latest OS release in anticipation of onboarding departmental domains. No service outage is expected as a result of this change.

Exchange 2007 Email service restored January 10, 2012 UPDATE

Exchange 2007 email service has mostly been restored. Clients may experience some delays in mail delivery as queued email is delivered. Blackberry devices may still experience latency issues with accessing Exchange mailboxes, this should be resolved as message queue on the server slowly clears up.

Exchange 2007 Email service outage January 10, 2012 UPDATE

The Exchange 2007 Email service is currently experiencing a service outage. Clients in Sauder and Medicine are experiencing a full outage. Clients in other faculties and departments may experience service degradation. The UBC IT Email Team is investigating the issue. The estimated time of resolution is unknown.
