Authentication and authorization services will be migrated from the current OpenLDAP service to ELDAP service. There should be little or no service disruption during this migration.

OpenLDAP Maintenance will occur on November 2, 2017 at 11:00 – 14:00 PT. Access via OpenLDAP will now require a UBC IP address to connect, query or retrieve data.

*RESOLVED* CAS Authentication Issues – August 16th, 2017 17:51 – 19:00 PT

The Central Authentication Service (CAS) incurred a brief outage today, impacting services required authentication by a Campus-Wide Login (CWL).  Services have now been restored.  Technicians are currently investigating the root cause. 19:00 PT – The login issues have been resolved.
