It has been confirmed that there are no issues with UBC’s MyDNS or UBC’s Skype. There is a widespread issue on the internet affecting cloud and Internet DNS services.

On Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 23:30 to Friday, April 8, 2016 00:00, the UBC SharePoint 2013 Software as a Service (SaaS) service will be undergoing maintenance to resolve an issue with search. SharePoint sites will not be accessible during this time.

ITSC Intermapper workstation maintenance on Apr 7, 2016 07:00 – 08:00 PT

Three Intermapper workstations in the IT Service Centre will be moved to newer network infrastructure.

UBC IT Network Maintenance on UBCV campus on April 7, 2016 07:00 – 08:00 PT

UBC IT will be performing network maintenance on Thursday, April 7, 2016 between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM PT. During this time, there will be brief service interruptions to Internet access across the Resnet and Internet.

FASmail Feature Enhancement Apr 6, 2016 10:00 – 10:30 PT

On April 6, 2016 between 10:00 and 10:30, a change will be made to allow users to share their Free/Busy availability with those who do not have a FASmail mailbox. Only free/busy information can be shared to protect privacy. No outage is expected as a result of this change.

UBC IT Atlassian Toolkit Maintenance – April 3, 2016 11:00 – 17:00 PT

UBCIT Atlassian applications will be intermittently unavailable from 11:00 to 17:00 PT on Sunday, April 3, 2016 due to scheduled maintenance. The applications impacted during the maintenance are JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, SonarQube, Bamboo, FishEye, RoboJ, and Kibana.

EduCloud Server Maintenance – April 3, 2016 08:00 – 13:00 PT

During this maintenance period, Production UBC and BCNET Orgs in the EduCloud Server Service and the EduCloud vCenter server will be unavailable.

VDI Service Maintenance – April 2, 2016 07:00 – 12:00 PT

UBC IT will be performing regularly scheduled maintenance of the VDI service. Users of the VDI service are asked to log out of their VDI session ahead of the maintenance window identified above.
