We are currently experiencing issues with the database that are affecting the following applications: Student Service Centre (SSC), Student Information Service Centre (SISC), Faculty Service Centre (FSC).  The problem is being investigated and we hope to have a resolution shortly. Lync PoC to Skype for Business Pilot Migration March 16, 2017 17:00 – 21:00 PT

Issue resolved as of 11:45 am, March 16th, 2017   Please be advised that some users may be experiencing connectivity or performance issues with the FASmail service when using Outlook and Webmail. Technicians are currently investigating.    

UBC IT Network Maintenance March 16, 2017 07:00 – 08:00 PT

As part of an ongoing initiative to upgrade network infrastructure, UBC IT will be performing a network firewall upgrade affecting the Forestry department. The affected users will experience a brief outage of less than 10 minutes during the transition. No other outages are anticipated. The Lync Proof-of-Concept service will be undergoing maintenance on March 14th 2017 between 19:00 and 23:00. During this time, access to the “Dial-by-Phone” conference dial in number (604-822-9700) may be temporarily unavailable. Other than this, the Lync service will not be impacted by this change.
