The UBCIT – Academic Systems team can official state that the OAMS system’s performance is back to normal as of 4:34pm Thursday Jan 10, 2019.

The performance issue (slowness) seems to be due to increased activity (users) on the OAMS system between 1:00 and 2:00pm today. The team was monitoring the system and concluded that the system performance started to improve at 2:30pm until it reached normal levels of performance.

It has been identified that the Online Advising Management System (OAMS) is experiencing slowness in response times, affecting the advising group and students.  UBCIT – Academic Systems is investigating the issue and will provide hourly updates to this Bulletin.
