UPDATED: Kaltura Enterprise Video Platform Version Upgrade – August 4th, 2018 04:00 PT โ€“ August 5th 2018 12:00 PT

Due to a number of issues encountered during the Kaltura platform upgrade, the outage window will need to be extended to 22:00 PT.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Engineers are working to address these issues and complete the upgrade.


Due to unforeseen circumstances the vendor will require additional time to complete the upgrade. This will result in the following changes:

Kaltura Offline
Saturday August 4 2018 between 04:00 and 16:00 PT.
During this time, users will not be able to access any video content. Users will not be able to View/Play/Upload/Edit/Delete/Record content.

Kaltura Intermittent and Slow Performance
Saturday August 4 2018 between 16:00 and 18:00 PT.
During this time, users will be able to watch and upload videos but may experience slower than normal performance or experience errors on screen. We recommend users do not live stream or attempt webcam recordings during this period.


The Kaltura Enterprise Video Platform within Canvas, Connect and the MediaSpace portals will have the following access restrictions during the stated periods:

Kaltura Offline
Saturday August 4 2018 between 04:00 and 12:00 PT.
During this time, users will not be able to access any video content. Users will not be able to View/Play/Upload/Edit/Delete/Record content.

Saturday August 4 2018 between 12:01 and 14:00 PT.
