Adobe License Expiration Warning – Update โ€“ November 9, 2017 13:30 PT

UBC IT has published the Adobe serialization utilities for PC and Mac systems to address the expiring Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat Pro DC license keys. The utilities can be found on SLMS within the software folders for Creative Cloud 2017 or Acrobat Pro DC.

For UBC IT Desktop Services supported client PCs on the EAD domain, we silently reserialized all affected PCs on Friday Nov 3rd and have updated Software Center with newly serialized installation packages for Creative Cloud 2017 and Acrobat Pro DC.

For Creative Cloud 2017 new installation on Mac systems, run the installer found on SLMS followed by re-serialization utility.

Should you require assistance, please contact the UBC IT Service Centre at http://web.it.ubc.ca/forms/isf/.

Please be advised that Adobe Creative Cloud & Adobe Acrobat Pro DC users on Windows and Mac systems might get a license expiration warning/notification as shown below. UBC IT is aware of the issue and currently is working with the software vendor. As soon as we receive the new key, we will be releasing a utility to re-serialize all existing Adobe installations. We will try to automate the re-serialization process as much as we can for all UBC IT managed systems and provide instructions for systems outside of the UBC IT desktop support scope.

For now, please acknowledge the warning and wait for the next update on this bulletin.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
